Summary: Bid #1586 was called to provide Office Supplies for the Mt. Diablo Unified School District schools and central office departments, with orders placed via on-line, internet-based ordering system.

Bid #1586 was Board Approved to Office Depot on December 13, 2011. The initial term of the contract was for three years.

We are asking to extend the current contract with Office Depot to the end of the 2014-2015 fiscal year. By extending the current contract to June 30 2015, we secure continuity for the remainder of the school year.

The potential of changing providers mid-year would be detrimental to our purchasing ability.
