Summary: California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) has partnered with Mt. Diablo Unified and are engaging in the Systemic Instructional Review (SIR) process. Mt. Diablo meets the state criteria for CCEE support due to the fact that three or more pupil groups did not make progress based on the CA School Dashboard. Those student groups include African American students, foster youth, and students experiencing homelessness. During the months of January and February 2021, site visits, empathy interviews, and focus group interviews with administrators, students, union leaders, Board Members, advisory team members, school level staff, parents/ families, and advisory committee members were conducted.
On March 30, 2021 a final report listing findings and recommendations was shared with the District.
