Summary: The Director of Maintenance, Operations and Facilities is retiring and staff seeks to appoint the current Director of Facilities & Bonds, into that role, effective May 13, 2021. Should this be board approved, staff will then hire for a Director of Facilities & Bonds.

The Director of Maintenance, Operations and Facilities will no longer include the Facilities components that were moved under the auspices of the Director of Facilities & Bonds, as was board approved on November 9, 2020. DMA leadership reviewed and supported this appointment.
Funding: Previously funded position
Fiscal Impact Appointment to previously budgeted position. No cost increase.
Recommendation: Move to approve the appointment of the Director of Maintenance and Operations.
