Summary: College Park High School is requesting Board approval for their String Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra to perform at the 2015 Orlando Performance Tour/Disney Performing Arts & Universal Orlando Star April 8-14, 2015. An itinerary, list of 69 students and 10 chaperones is attached.
Funding: Fundraising will cover all expenses. Expenses will be paid out of College Park's Instrumental Music Booster's account. A detailed account is also attached.
Fiscal Impact Trip is expected to run $117,850 with all expenses covered by College Park's Instrumental Music Boosters. No fiscal impact on the District budget.
Recommendation: Approve College Park High School's trip to Florida, as touring is a highlight of a high school student's musical experience.
