Summary:

Northgate High School is requesting permission to attend the Next Generation Jazz Festival in Monterey, CA. Twenty four Jazz Band students will be traveling by one of our approved charter buses with 4 chaperones. Students will be staying at the Portola Inn. This trip provides an opportunity to perform and receive recorded critiques, as well as attending live clinics with professional musicians.

Funding:

The trip is funded by fund raising, parent donations and the Northgate Instrumental Music Boosters. The trip will cost $4,000.

There is no impact to the District's budget as Northgate's Instrumental Music Boosters will cover all expenses directly.
