Summary: Spectrum Center is an operator of California certified non-public day schools that offer a comprehensive educational program for school-age students with autism, emotional/behavioral disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and other disabilities which require focused academic, behavioral, communication, therapeutic and transition services. Requested funds are to cover placement and services for 28 students that are currently placed through the IEP process.

Fiscal Impact The requested amount of $2,000,000 is a budgeted expense in the 2020/21 budget. No additional funds are requested.
