Summary: Mt. Diablo Unified School District requested bids for hardscape improvements at Meadow Homes Elementary School. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: all tools, materials, labor and equipment necessary to complete selective demolition, site work concrete and/or asphaltic paving repairs. The invitation to bid indicates that the low bidder will be determined by the base bid amount only. There is an allowance for this project in the amount of $25,000 that will be added to the low bidder’s total base bid. This allowance will be used at the sole discretion of the district in order to resolve unforeseen conditions and add additional scope as needed. The project has four (4) bid packages that were received on April 29, 2020 and Bid #1862 from G & S Paving is the lowest, responsible, responsive bidder.
Bid #1862 Base Bid: $300,847
Potential Allowance: $ 25,000
Total: $325,847
Funding: $325,847 Measure C 2010 Funds
Fiscal Impact $325,847 the amount is within budget; no additional funds needed.
