The MDUSD K-12 Secondary allocation is anticipated to be between $150,000 and $250,000. The Mt. Diablo Adult Education (MDAE) allocation is anticipated to be between $25,000 and $50,000, and will be determined by the Consortium Fiscal Agent, Martinez Adult Education, under the guidelines and rules of the Carl D. Perkins Grant.

Mt. Diablo Adult Education is required to participate in the Contra Costa County Carl D. Perkins Grant K-12 Adult Education Consortium due to the fact that the anticipated allocation will be less than $50,000. In addition, MDAE requests Governing Board approval to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Assurances for this purpose. Proposed MOU attached.

Fiscal Impact There is no cost to the General Fund nor to the Adult Education Fund, and no matching funds are required.
