Summary:

The attached draft of the 2016-2017 school calendar has been approved by the Mt. Diablo Education Association (MDEA) and shared with all bargaining units and department heads. We are now bringing this forward for Board approval.
Notable changes to the 2016-17 calendar are:
Lincoln’s Birthday is not observed; instead, Cesar Chavez Day will be observed on March 31st. Spring Break week will no longer be associated with Easter. In 2016-17, Spring Break will take place the week of April 3rd. |
